Treating Facial Blemishes
Laser Resurfacing Treatment
I have worked as a professional golf instructor for over 15 years now, and in that time I have spent a lot of time outside in the sun.
No matter how careful you are to wear a hat and use sunscreen, eventually your skin will begin to acquire blemishes and spots due to the sun's radiation.
For the next 2 months I will be visiting the Muse Clinic in AoCheng to have Laser Resurfacing Treatment applied to my face by my friend Dr Seo Jeong Il. I will need to have the treatment once a week for about 10 weeks before I will be able to see any results.
In order for you to see the improvement over time, I will take a photo of my face every day until the end of the treatment. While I have already had my first treatment the day before the first photo, I have been told that it takes up to 3 days for any improvement to become visible so it should be OK. Regardless, this isn't meant to be a scientific experiment. Its purely for your amusment and entertainment as I have my face lasered away.
What is the Process?
For people who have never had Laser Resurfacing done, it can be a little intimidating. Luckily there is nothing to fear.
Step 1 : Arrive in the Muse Clinic
The Muse Clinic is located in Ao Cheng
Step 2 : Initial Interview with the Doctor
You will be initially assessed by the Doctor to ensure you get the best treatment.
Step 3 : Pre-Operation Face Cleaning
For the Laser Resurfacing to be effective you have to wipe off all your make-up before the operation.
Step 4 : Laser Treatment
The Laser treatment itself takes about 20 minutes, and is painless.
Step 5 : Post Operation Soothing
Afterwards a soothing mask is applied to cool your face before leaving.
